We have an excellent job opportunity for you.Role Title:Quality Assurance InspectorLocation: Derby,UK 5 days a weekDuration: 6 MonthsRate: Inside Ir35Contractors must be eligible for BPSS clearanceShift work required - mornings/afternoons, 50 hours per week (06:00-16:00 or 12:00-22:00)MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLARole Description:As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of the sales programme. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct QA inspections to ensure the West Midlands fleet meet the required expectation and qualitystandards and are ready to present to the customer for final acceptance, ensuring all rework and snags are closed out.Responsibilities• Perform visual inspections in accordance with established procedures and industry standards.• Ensure modification paperwork is completed to an adequate standard.• Monitor, evaluate and report on inspection KPI’s, identifying areas of improvement in quality and efficiency.• Work with the modification team leaders to make sure inspections are done in line with the Mod plan.• Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of findings.• Collaborate with Mod team & Alstom Engineering to resolve any quality-related issues.• Participate in RCA investigations to identify the causes of non-conformance and help implement corrective actions.• Provide guidance and support to other colleagues to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.Qualifications / Experience• Minimum 5 years’ experience of the rail industry in a quality assurance role or similar• Experience of Aventra platform essential• NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline required as a minimum.**Aventra experience is a must due to the lack of learning curve**Personal Attributes / Skills• Proactive.• IT literate and proficient in MS Office package.• Self-motivated.• Good communication skills.• Excellent attention to detail.• Good time management.• Customer focused.• Excellent organisation skills• Sound product knowledge• Conflict Management
