Job Description

Our client, a Midlands Local Authority, is looking for an AMHP to work in their Adult Mental Health Locality and Reablement Team.Do you want to work mostly from homeAre you passionate about peoples independenceThis could be the role for you!Blended approach to working with a mixture of working from home, office work and visits.Full-time but part-time applicants will be considered.Responsibilities of the role:

  • Building support plans, using the Care Act, to help service users maximise their independence.
  • Aiding in conflict resolution where one or more party may need adjustments within the support plans being provided.
  • Working with the Mental Capacity Act and The Mental Health Act. Being able to utilise these to provide your assessments.
  • Signposting relevant services for service users.
  • Arrange meetings for safeguarding, VARM, etc.
Requirements of the role:
  • Must hold a degree in Social Work or equivalent and be fully registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have post-qualification training and experience as an Approved Mental Health Professional.
  • Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle.
