Qualified Art TeacherLocation: DerbySummaryMilk Education is working with an Academy that strives to be the best and deliver the best education to their students. We have an opportunity for a qualified Art teacher to take up a temporary, full-time maternity cover.Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a qualified teacher who plans and produces interesting and effective lessons to enable each student to achieve her potential in Art.
  • The successful candidate will have a thorough and up to date subject knowledge and the ability to teach to GCSE
  • You will hold Qualified Teacher Status or an NQT who is looking to continue to develop excellent teaching practice
    • Required Skills & Experience:
  • The successful candidate will be a passionate, creative, practitioner who is confident teaching across the ability range for all key stages.
  • They will have excellent practical skills combined with good classroom management and organisational skills, and the ability to inspire all students to achieve their full potential.
  • The ability to work in a team is essential, sharing good practice and providing opportunities for students across the ability range.
