Are you an experienced Architectural Assistant looking to enhance your skillset as a Part 2 AssistantI am currently on the lookout for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a multi-disciplinary practice that is located in Darley Abbey, which is just north of Derby.At the moment, they employ a design team of 11 people which is comprised of Architects, Technologists and Architectural Assistants who combine to ensure all projects benefit from a wide range of experience across both concept and technical design activities.As part of their strategic growth plans, this RIBA accredited practise is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their design-focused team of 11. They work across most sectors with notable current projects within Residential, Health & Education, MixedUse, Offices & Headquarters, Hospitality & Leisure, Culture, and Industrial & Research - so a wide variety of projects for you to get stuck into!The ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of RIBA Stages 1 - 3 and have experience in using AutoCAD, ideally, in practice. You should have the capability to work independently and as part of a team as well as be able to determineconcept design skills.The role: Part 2 Architectural Assistant * - Part 2 qualified* - Knowledge of RIBA Stages 1-3* - Planning applications* - Submitting building regulation applications* - Tender packages* - Construction packages* - AutoCAD is essential, and having experience in using Sketchup, VRAY, and Revit is beneficialDesirable Attributes: * - RIBA stage 4 experience in practice* - Experience in producing design and access statements* - Potential for future career progression into more senior roles* - Prior BIM Project experienceThe salary for this position is £24K - £28K.For more information on this position, please contact Curtis Hunter at Konker Recruitment.
