Job Description

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3)Location: Derby, DerbyshireAre you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner with a Level 3 qualification in childcare and a hold a valid driving licence Do you have a genuine love for nurturing and educating young children If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you tojoin a friendly and dynamic team, located in Alfreton, Derbyshire.Key Responsibilities:As a Nursery Practitioner, your primary role will be to provide a high-quality care and education. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum
  • Building strong relationships with children and their families
  • Observing and assessing childrens development and progress
  • Promoting positive behaviour and social skills
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain a clean and organized environment
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Level 3 Qualification in childcare
  • Valid driving licence and access to vehicle
  • A deep passion for working with young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of child development and early childhood education
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications
