Job Vacancy: Mortgage AdvisorLocation:DerbyRemuneration:£27,000 - £31,000 basic, inclusive of car allowance, financial guarantees up to £45,000 for 6 months, pension, DIS, bonus & commission, OTE £75,000 - £95,000Bryn McMillan Consulting Vacancy Ref:J1682MBBMCOverview:An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Broker, or Mortgage Adviser in the heart of Derby city centre. This role offers the potential to earn up to £95,000, based on previous business performance, where you can turn a basicsalary of up to £31,000 into substantial earnings. Our client provides a competitive basic salary, car allowance, pension, DIS, bonus, commission, and a daily influx of fresh leads.Main Duties:As a Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Broker, or Mortgage Adviser living within easy commuting distance of Derby city centre, you will enjoy a steady stream of new mortgage leads generated by a team of introducers. Working in close collaboration with this team,your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing whole-of-market mortgage advice to clients with financing needs up to £850,000.
  • Capitalising on the thriving Derby property market where over 240 properties sell at their full asking price according to land registry data.
  • Leveraging this bustling flagship office to potentially bank over £200,000, including your basic salary.
In addition to the daily leads, you will have unlimited access to the branchs existing client database, enabling you to offer valuable remortgage services. Given the recent interest rate increases, your expertise as a Mortgage Broker will be vital in securingsuitable arrangements for clients.Key Skills:The ideal candidate will be an experienced Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Broker, or Mortgage Adviser residing in the Derby area with a background as a bank-based mortgage advisor. Essential qualifications include:
  • Previous experience working effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to contact warm client bases.
  • A clean credit history, no convictions, and a full UK driving license.
