Job Description

Working with one of the most well-known charities in Nottingham and Derbyshire, an opportunity to cover a period of maternity (Until September 2024) as Marketing Officer has arisen, and you’ll be working part-time, flexibly around 30 hours in total. Homeworking is available, however, you must be able to easily commute to their offices on the outskirts of Derby, Derbyshire as needed and carry out your induction period at their offices for the first few weeks.Minimum Marketing Officer Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar digital marketing role, with some offline work too
  • A strong eye for detail and creative flair
  • Enjoy analysing data, able to identify patterns of activity, and interpreting into easy formats for stakeholders
  • Used to working with social media accounts, creating content and replying to queries
Ideally, you’ll also have SEO experience and are used to working with photos/video content but this isn’t essential… Just nice to have.The main purpose of this Marketing Officer role is to offer support with promoting the charity, fundraising, and supporting retail teams, alongside the Head of Marketing and Marketing Lead.Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll also be:
  • Supporting and promoting fundraising activities
  • Creating content for all channels and delivering marketing plans in line with the revenue plans
  • Overseeing the social media pages for crucial parts of the charity
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue sales
  • Undertaking SEO and website research to improve fundraising
  • Project managing offline marketing campaigns
  • Supporting ad-hoc paid advertising campaigns
  • Generate a monthly activity report against KPI’s
  • Attending regular meetings and offering support to other colleagues
