Job Description

Senior Marketing Manager£40,000pa Circa dependant on experienceEast MidlandsConcentrated on creating and delivering the marketing strategy to drive engagement amongst new and existing new customers. To drive traffic to stores and online ordering. Delivering PR activities will also be part of this function.Focus on the company experiencefor customers through the delivery of clear, engaging and well-planned marketing encompassing digital and print platforms, ensuring value to franchisees, customers, partners and management. The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for co-ordinating the strategy sites within and outside the UK.Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the marketing function and small team to drive footfall and brand awareness
  • Reporting quarterly to the Directors with department performance and define strategy for the future
  • Plan central marketing calendar at least 12 weeks in advance, whilst liaising with the operations department on messaging and promotions
  • Liaise with printers for the arrangement of printing and dispatching of planned and reactive marketing materials to all stores
  • Plan, create and execute PR and Marketing campaigns for new store openings
  • Approve and deliver any agreed marketing activity via local marketing calendars provided by franchise stores or area managers
  • Work closely with the Operations Management to plan and execute seasonal and new product offerings
  • Create, develop and execute the UK and International franchise marketing strategy, to be delivered across professional channels and social media.
  • Regular reporting to management and the franchisees on general performance of both reach and engagement of national and local social campaigns, E-Mail marketing activity and HD app performance and customer engagement.
  • Creating digital graphics and assets for all social media and seasonal in store promotions with graphic designer
  • Write all social content for all Social Media Platforms, including paid Facebook ads
  • Liaise with photographers and videographers to produce all assets for social media and physical campaign or assets on a monthly basis.
  • Act as the anchor for marketing communications between stores and operations/design
  • Respond to all messages on social media
  • Write press releases and award entry pieces
  • Build relationships with bloggers and influencers
  • Contributes to leveraging the customer experience by recognizing alarms or changes in customer feedback on social media and communicating these complaints to Area Managers
  • Delivers exceptional internal and external stakeholder service by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
Summary of Experience
  • GCSE or Equivalent
  • Experience analysing reports
  • Experience in a Marketing / Senior Marketing role
  • Higher Education qualification within business marketing preffered
  • Managing marketing colleagues
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong marketing strategy delivery skills across all platforms
  • Knowledge of management practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of the retail and or restaurant industry operations
  • Demonstrated team-building skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members at all levels in the organisation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
