Job Description

Marketing & Communications ManagerThrough strong and organised leadership, the successful candidate will create, implement and manage the marketing campaigns for all the companies products and websites to a first class standard, satisfying internal and external expectation.Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:Management experience - confident and able to lead from the front

  1. Experience of creating and implementing marketing plans
  2. Experience of digital marketing, including google analytics, SEO, email marketing, social media marketing and website UX
  3. Experience in leading, curating and marketing conferences/events (preferred but not essential)
  4. Excellent written English (essential)
  5. Excellent understanding of business processes and systems to provide customer focused delivery
  6. Experience of setting and managing marketing budgets
  7. Understanding the importance of maintaining and managing data integrity
  8. Understanding and experience of managing CRM systems
  9. Understanding and experience of using automated marketing tools (preferred) (knowledge of Mautic preferable but not essential)
  10. Experience in working in a fast paced environment, utilising strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  11. Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail
  12. Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
  13. Self-motivator and able to take responsibility
  14. Problem solver and able to use initiative
  15. Calm under pressure
  16. Creative and innovative
  17. Passionate about customer delivery
  18. Able to work longer hours where required
Key Responsibilities
  1. Create, implement and manage the marketing campaigns for all products:
    1. Digital Events and Webinars
    2. Physical Events
    3. E-publications
    4. Monthly Legal Updates
    5. Watchman insurance
    6. Finance
  1. Work with the Managing Director to establish a regular communication and meeting rhythm to set out where the Marketing Plan is against target
  2. Support the finance manager in creation of cash flows to manage and make timely payments to marketing vendors/suppliers
  3. Innovate at all times; develop new ideas to improve the digital event experience
  4. Attend internal training and external events to keep abreast with the market
  5. Manage, coach and mentor the Marketing Team, provide ongoing support and training; encourage the team to improve performance and delivery
  6. Working within the Curation Team (Managing Director and Operations Manager) within PE to deliver technical event content to a high level of customer satisfaction
  7. Owner of the companies delegate data management for each market in which it operates
  8. Work with the rest of the management team on the development of new income streams and the overall strategic review of the business
  9. At all times act as a professional leader and role model in the business demonstrating the core values
  10. Effectively manage or execute any other tasks or projects as required on an adhoc basis.
Key Accountabilities1. Work with the MD to set and ensure that all marketing SMART objectives and KPIs are met2. Ensure that any projects you manage are delivered on time and to budget3. Create marketing schedules to achieve the marketing plan objectives4. Ensure that all marketing communications are delivered in accordance with the marketing schedules5. Maintain data integrity and ensure PE satisfies GDPR requirements
