Due to considerablegrowth, our client is looking for a Manual Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis.Our client is a widely recognised business with over 40years of experience in the manufacturing of tools.Candidates will be tasked to:-Work to close tolerance, small batch work, predominantly tool makingin a wide range of materials such as; Mild Steel, Titanium, Copper and Stainless Steel-Learn multiple machines across the business-Understand and interpret engineering drawings-Understand and be able to follow batch card and standard work instructionsSuccessful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:-Previous manual machining experience-Experience with Vertical Jig Borers or Manual Milling machines-Precision engineering background - worked in an engineering/manufacturing business-Ability to be able to self inspect using manual measuring equipment-Can set and run manual machines confidently-Ability to multi-man machines-Understanding of tooling-Work well within a teamIn return our client is offering:-Stability & Longevity - Permanent position-Shifts: Days = 07.00or 07.30- 1500or 15.30and an early finish on a Friday- Hourly Rate - circa £12.50 p/h-Overtime available at premium rates-Additional permanent benefits including; Holiday pay, contributory pension scheme and much moreIf you are interested in this position and would like to apply, please submit your most up to date CV to or call on either:
