Job Description

To role will provide both proactive and reactive electrical and mechanical engineering support to the manufacturing site.Client DetailsThe client have a global presence, an excellent reputation and this role provides the opportunity to work on one of their new and state of the art sites.Description

  • Ensuring all equipment is working safely, efficiently and effectively;
  • Installation, commissioning and maintenance of new equipment.
  • Repairing, maintaining and modifying equipment as required.
  • Providing both mechanical and electrical advice and expertise to ensure conformity, safety and operational objectives are satisfied.
  • Investigating equi0ment failures and deterioration and recommending and carrying out remedial action.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of remedial maintenance or modification work.
  • Contributing to major overhaul work in the production facility as required.
Profile
  • Previous experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified Electrically with either NVQ, HNC or Apprenticeship.
  • 17th or 18th Edition would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of equipment incliuding but not limited to conveyors, weighers, pneumatics, palletizers, robotics.
  • Willing to work double day shift 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
Job Offer
  • £43,000 per annum.
