SF Recruitment is looking for an IT professional to join one of our key accounts in Derbyshire. Our client is going through an aggressive growth phase, and they are looking for a motivated and highly capable IT Developer to join their business on a fulltime, permanent basis. The individual will be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and engage with other departments throughout the business. Reporting into the CTO & FD your primary responsibility, is to carry out Development work on their bespoke systems and applications based on an IT Development pipeline. The successful candidate will provide ad-hoc infrastructure requirements to support a smallteam. We are looking for candidates who ideally can show knowledge or an understanding of - Full stack web development - Modern PHP (7 and 8) using OOP - Managing linux servers - Experience with relational databases and ORM models - Experience with CI / deployment - Source code management and version control - Managing and creating integrations with third parties In addition, you will be familiar with the following: - Laravel (Backend) - Vue.js (Frontend) - MySQL (DB) - Git (SCM) - NGiNX (Server) - Ubuntu (Server) - Jenkins (CI) - O365 / AAD management - Mixed environment macOS, Win11 - Troubleshooting end user problems - Troubleshooting and maintaining Linux servers - Managing Unifi network We are looking for people with strong organisational and communication skills. You must have the ability to manage and prioritise multiple and competing requests. You will be a confident communication and must be able to interact professionally across departmentsto ensure IT development and IT support needs are being met and understood. Depending on experience this position will pay between £27,500 - £32,000. Our client offers home working two days a week and three days in the office, however, can be flexible on this.
