Job Description

HR Officer - Generalist - Derby£26,000-£28,000 per year - actual pro rata salaryTerm time only plus 2 weeks, 41 weeks per yearFull-time and Part-time hours consideredThis is a superb opportunity to join a team of true HR Professionals as a HR Officer. This is a very generalist role which will involve case management, ER and HR administration.This position is term time only and a full-time position working Mondays to Fridays 37 hours per week, however, for the right person this organisation will also consider someone who is able to work 4 days per weekThe role:

  • Supporting HR casework with documentation, advice on the process, attendance at meetings for investigations, disciplinary, capabilities, grievances and appeal situations.
  • Undertake monthly HR meetings in line with standard agendas and respond to queries raised
  • Provide administrative support with letter writing and minute taking for HR process and procedures
  • Data inputting of information into HR systems to support payroll processing in all aspects of delivery to ensure accurate and timely returns
  • Contributing to the review and updating of all policies in the HR area
  • Assisting with recruitment
Experience required:
  • Working within an education setting is an advantage but not essential
  • Proven track record within a similar level role
  • CIPD qualification or working towards
  • Please note due to travelling across local sites this role will require a car driver/owner
