Job Description

Do you have a proven record of leading HR projects from conception to delivery and working autonomously, as a HR specialistFord & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are recruiting a HR Business Partner on a 6-month FTC to work for our client who are specialists in engineering work on railway traction and rolling stock.As the HRBP you will be responsible for adding value to overall business objectives, working tactically, providing HR solutions to business challenge, resolving conflicts in the workplace and retaining a talented workforce. You must also ensure the business operates within compliance and governance in line with its employees and employment law.Location (s): DerbyRole and Responsibilities

  • Recruiting the right talent, at the right time

  • Champion the HR Strategy an align to operational business needs
  • Coordination of the businesses key HR processes

  • Acting as CI lead on employee engagement
  • Enhancing L&D service
  • Managing & Developing Apprentice scheme
  • Updating policies & practices aligned to HR strategy
  • Overseeing workplace health & wellness programmes
  • Leadership and management development
  • Governance of Occupational Health in the workplace
  • The Candidate
  • Working as either a HRBP or Head of HR discipline within the rail or similar industry.
  • Proven record of leading HR projects from conception to delivery.
  • Working autonomously, as the HR specialist within an organisation.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of effective people management and training of such in the workplace.
  • Designed & Lead either Apprentice /Graduate programs within a similar organisation.
