Job Description

HGV DRIVERS (CLASS 1) REQUIRED!!The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV DRIVERS (CLASS 1) to work AM or PM at one of our prestigious client based in Burnaston, Derbyshire, delivering and collecting automotive parts.

  • FLEET OF VEHICLES ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION
    • Our Customer are a 24 hour operation Monday to Friday but we are currently looking for drivers for both AM & PM shifts, with shift lengths averaging between 8-13 hours. This role does NOT involve handball but strapping the trailer is essential.LTD hourly rates are on offer:Days 06:00-18:00 = £13.50 per hourNights 18:00-06:00 = £14.50 per hourDay overtime applicable after 8 hours = £18.00phNight overtime applicable after 8 hours = £19.50phPAYE Pay Rates as follows:Days 06:00 - 18:00 = £11.00phNights 18:00 - 06:00 = £12.00phDay overtime applicable after 8 hours = £15.00phNight overtime applicable after 8 hours = £16.50phRequirements of the HGV DRIVERS (CLASS 1):
  • Drivers must have held their HGV C+E Licence a minimum 2 years.
  • Driver cannot have more than 6 points on their licence.
  • Drivers must hold a valid Digi-Tacho & CPC Card.
  • Verifiable references
