Job Description

Talk Staff are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Financial Reporting Manager to join our fantastic client based in Derbyshire. The client is looking for a candidate who is ACA or equivalent qualified to manage a high quality and accuratefinancial reporting process withing the business. This is a technical role and the job holder will need to have a good working knowledge of IFRS as applied in a global organisation. Adherence to reporting deadlines is essential as is the ability to producevalue-added commentaries and supporting documents for senior executives as required.The company offers a warm and friendly culture, they appreciate all their staff and strive for inclusivity, they offer a hybrid working environment alongside a yearly bonus, healthcare and other benefits.We will consider candidates making their first move from Practice or already in Industry and looking to take a step into a more senior position.The role:

  • Preparation of quarterly and year end reporting information under IFRS in accordance with agreed deadlines.
  • Assist in the preparation of the year end and interim consolidated financial statements including the provision of value-added commentaries and supporting schedules as required.
  • Maintain a detailed and up to date knowledge of all matters related to IFRS and other relevant regulatory accounting requirements.
  • To establish good working relationships with the external auditors and thereby help to facilitate a smooth audit process.
  • Liaise with the Group tax department, Group treasury and Company Secretary.
Qualifications and experience:
  • ACA or equivalent accounting qualification. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification experience in a financial reporting environment, either within the accountancy profession or in industry.
  • Experience of producing financial statements under IFRS.
  • Oracle HFM (or other consolidation software) experience an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Oracle HFM and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to develop and maintain working partnerships in a global organisation.
  • Advocate of strong internal control environment.Salary & Working Hours
  • Salary is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependant on experience + bonus
