Job Description

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving financial analysis, reporting, and decision-makingprocesses within the organisation. Your proficiency in Hyperion will be essential in effectively managing financial data and delivering actionable insights to support strategic business initiatives.Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Hyperion software to maintain and optimise financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, analyse trends, and provide valuable insights on performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analysis, budget vs. actuals, and profitability analysis.
  • Support the development of financial models and forecasts to assist in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Perform cost analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects as required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in Hyperion software to enhance financial analysis capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Finance Analyst, with expertise in utilising Hyperion software.
  • In-depth understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
