Finance Manager Exclusive SF Vacancy High growth SME Derby £40,000 - £45,000 Full time - Monday to Friday (2.30pm finish on a Friday) Progression Opportunity to FC SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a reputable Freight company based in Derbyshire who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their small yet friendly finance team. Job purpose Reporting to the Finance Director and managing a team of 2, you will be responsible for the overall management of the companys day to day financial activities, including management accounts, sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash book, payroll, fixed assets,nominal ledger, bank reconciliations, expenses, stock control, supplier payments, invoicing, credit control and VAT returns. Key accountabilities - Monthly financial management reporting - Provide weekly key cash flow information - Monthly payroll preparation and payment - Establish a business partnering culture to the management team to enable accurate reporting of the financial results at a project and departmental level - Implementation of a weekly KPI dashboard - Managing all project accounts to ensure good financial practices are in place, expenditure is closely monitored and ensuring projects are managed to the agreed project financial performance requirements - Proactive management of the companys finances in relation to bidding, order book, cash and ensuring the general financial health of the business - Support with the yearend accounts and audit - Support the annual budgeting process If you are a newly qualified / finalist (CIMA / ACCA) Management Accountant looking for the next step in your career and have a real passion for what you do along with excellent communication and IT skills then this role could be the perfect opportunity foryou.
