Job Description

A transportation company whose strategy is to provide a complete railway management service to customers around the world are looking for a Finance Analyst to join them and assist the Financial Controller with a wide range of accounting tasks.Responsibilities:

  • Support with month end deadlines
  • Build forecast model in line with previous years models to allow full budgeted sales and costs to be included
  • Leading into the monthly forecast process and using inputs from various sources to predict the likely costs of revenues based on budgeted and run rates
  • Take ownership of the monthly profit mentor process and its completion by working day 7
  • Support and cover for monthly payroll process
  • Production of annual budgets, including templates for completion
  • Build the fully phased model of the final agreed financial budget
  • Work with the managing director on a monthly basis to ensure all financial forecast figures and customer stewardship information is updated in CRM
  • Completing some ad-hoc tasks
