Thera East Midlands has an exciting opportunity available for a FemaleTeam Coordinator (Deputy Manager)to join our team covering Wirksworth and Ashbourne.You will join us on a full timepermanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £27,534.58 per annum.Who are weThera East Midlands is uniquewe are led by people with a learning disability.Ourvisionis to promote that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society.About the role:The role of a FemaleTeam Coordinator (Deputy Manager)has two elements:Personalised support: providing direct support and direction to adults with a learning disability. Creating opportunities for fun and supporting people to meet their needs, goals in life, whilst being a positive role model for the support team,Direct line management of a designated support team - managing tasks like rotas, supervisions, debriefing, support plan and person centred planning for people supported.As a FemaleTeam Coordinator (Deputy Manager) you will be part of an inclusive team empowered to create innovative ways to support an individual achieve their own personal goals. What do you need to become our FemaleTeam Coordinator (Deputy Manager)
  • Full, valid UK drivers licence is essential
  • Experience of following practice leadership
  • A good level of English and Math is required, and we would like you to have experience in the care industry, particularly with supporting people with a learning disability
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in managing, supervising or team coordination in Supported living as well as knowledge of CQC
  • Have great communication skills and be highly organised
  • Positively liaising with families and professionals
  • Rota management
  • Meeting contracted hours management
  • Organising and undertaking supervisions
  • Complete debriefs with staff following any incidents
  • Allocating training and ensuring it has been completed
  • Taking part in chairing team meetings
  • A good level of IT skills
  • Prioritising and organising skills
  • Risk assessments
  • Willingness to take part in a weekly on call system to provide out of hours support to teams in Norfolk- you will be provided with a work phone
  • Be flexible in regards to shifts, we provide a mixture of early and late shifts that can also include a sleep in
  • Ability to support people in their own homes and out in the community, this will include, active participation around cooking, cleaning, gardening, personal care, relaxation and keeping connected with family and friends
