Job Role: Family Practitioner (Supporting parents/carers with substance misuse needs)Hours of work: Full time/ permanent Salary: £21,881Location: DerbyI am looking for a Family Practitioner to join an outstanding charity who delivers focused care and support for families with substance misuse concerns.The service provides young people with a safe place for them to talk about their concerns and help them to develop coping strategies to manage difficult situations. As a Family Practitioner, you will deliver 1:1 and group interventions, with a key focus onsupporting and guiding parents/carers who are misusing substances. An energetic and confident self-starter, you will have a qualification in health/social care, youth, and community work (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies) or demonstrable experience of working in the youthand/or substance misuse field.As well as good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health related issues, you will be used to liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and comfortable engaging with clients in a variety of service delivery settings.
