A UK based role suitable for a candidate who can spend time across sites located in The Midlands as need be, with home working offered. This role reports into Legal and Compliance Director and is responsible for developing, improving, and enforcing policiesand procedures covering the regulation of international trade.Client DetailsThis EU Trade Compliance Manager role can be based in Derby, Crewe or anywhere in the Midlands (or UK for those more open to taking on additional travel).The company recruiting is an international organisation operating in the manufacturing/ aerospace industry, the company manufactures gas turbine engines. This EU Trade Compliance roles supports UK, France, Holland and Thailand. It is a senior position, reportingto the Deputy General Counsel and the Director of Trade Compliance who is based in the US. It is a stand alone role, supporting operations within the regions listed. Some travel to sites will be involved, and the successful candidate can split time betweenhome working and required visits to offices/ sites.DescriptionThis EU Trade Compliance Manager role can be based in Derby, Crewe or anywhere in the Midlands (or UK for those more open to taking on additional travel), it involves:This role will assume hands on responsibility for trade compliance, UK and EU operations. Candidate shall aid in developing, improving, and enforcing policies and procedures covering the regulation of international trade, including export control, Customsand import procedures. This position will work with various global functional teams to identify, assess and develop action plans with respect to international trade compliance, cost reduction and standardization.
