Job Description

ARM is recruiting for an Electronics Design Engineering Team Leader with a proven history of leading a team. This a permanent opportunity with a defence company in Derby offering a fantastic career opportunity, with excellent benefits.You will be joining a mature environment, where your contributions will have a direct impact on safeguarding the U.K. at home and abroad.Permanent Role As the Electronics Design Engineering Team Leader with experience working with electronic measurement systems within a hybrid role in Derby, you will be responsible for;

  • Inspire the team to consistently deliver high levels of performance through facilitation, coaching and the demonstration of lean leadership behaviours.
  • Motivate, delegate and empower team members to act and make their own decisions.
  • Deliver our projects and products to customers on time: utilise load and capacity tools to manage workload within the team.
  • Drive towards a performance and culture of Zero Harm. Ensuring our teams are trained and compliant to safety standards and promoting wellbeing.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with the required standard to ensure conformance to the engineering specification, and for promoting a product safety culture in the organisation.
You should, as the Electronics Design Engineering Team Leader be able to work in Derby on site and have experience of the following;
  • You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant. electrical/electronic/engineering discipline with experience in a design environment.
  • You will have at least five years relevant experience including evidence of Leadership and Team Working.
  • Ideally will have led a team within an engineering environment.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering projects through the full product lifecycle.
