Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Rail System Specialist We are seeking an experienced Electrical Rail System Specialist with a focus on EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) or HV (High Voltage) Electrical Power to join our dynamic team. As a chartered engineer (CEng), you willplay a critical role in advancing our rail systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge rail projects and make a lasting impact on the futureof transportation.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems for rail infrastructure, with a specific focus on EMC or HV Electrical Power.
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and resolve technical challenges.
  4. Provide technical expertise in EMC or HV Electrical Power for rail projects, contributing to the overall success of the company.
  5. Perform risk assessments, system analysis, and troubleshooting to maintain the safety and reliability of rail systems.
  6. Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications:
  1. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  3. Proven expertise in EMC or HV Electrical Power for rail systems.
  4. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for rail infrastructure.
  5. Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  7. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
