We work to ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting change to theirlives.About the Role:Mental Health Support Teams are part of an exciting trailblazer project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community in response to thegovernments Green Paper for Young Peoples Mental Health.Action for Children have been commissioned by Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group to establish 2 new Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) and continue the delivery of 4 recently established MHSTs teams across 6 Centres of Excellence.MHSTs will provide mental health and emotional wellbeing support to children and young people and their families and carers through schools in the Centre of Excellence areas. Each MHST will support several schools and colleges, covering a population ofaround 8,000 children and young people.We are currently looking for 2 EMH Practitioner Supervisors, with one to be based at the Noel Baker Academy in Derby and the other at Lady Manners School, Bakewell.As an Emotional Mental Health Practitioner Supervisor youll be:
