Job Description

Drive Case Manager x4 - Domestic Abuse / ViolenceLocation: DerbySalary: £26,500Hours: 37.5Contract Type: PermanentOur client has an exciting opportunity to be part of their Drive project in Derbyshire.Drive is a national pilot that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children by holding high-risk, high-harm perpetrators to account through delivery of a multi-agency case management approach.As a part of this project, you’ll be working alongside partner agencies (e.g. offender management services, Police, Social Care, mental health services) to create and coordinate a multi-agency intervention plan for each individual case to disrupt abuse, encourage and enable the perpetrator to address additional support needs, and deliver 1:1 behaviour change work. As part of the Drive Project Team, you’ll be responsible for working alongside partners and statutory structures, you’ll increase professionals’ knowledge of safe, effective work with perpetrators, promoting the Drive approach to reduce abuse and increase safety of victims and children.You’ll also work closely with the IDVA service and other victim services, who’ll be supporting their partners and family members, to help review risk and develop safety plans.Job requirements:

  • Work with high risk domestic abuse perpetrators to create and deliver an individual support plan to help them recognise and address their abusive behaviour
  • Co-ordinate multi-agency interventions to disrupt abusive behaviours and support behavioural change
  • Work with IDVAs and any other relevant agency ensuring a whole family’ coordinated approach, and multiagency risk management, intervention and safety planning
  • Influence a change in approach to how agencies work with families experiencing domestic abuse
  • Uphold the principles of Drive, promoting the integrated, multiagency approach and its evidence base to influence systems change to improve the local response to domestic abuse
  • Update case files and ensure they’re always up to date
  • Contribute to regular service reviews for this pilot project, which includes monitoring data, evaluations and workload reviews
