Job Description

Vetting and Resourcing Advisor Required!The Best Connection are currently recruiting Vetting and Resourcing Advisor to work for one of our clients based at East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in logistics, distribution and supplychain management. The Vetting and Resourcing Advisor will provide efficient and proactive support to the business on recruitment and vetting activities, ensuring that candidates are recruited within agreed timescales and to regulatory compliance and businessstandards.

  • Pay: £12.30ph (24,000)
  • Hours: 37.5 hour working weekMonday to Friday usually around 08:00 - 16:00 / 09:00 - 17:00
  • Location: East Midlands Airport / Colnbrook
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Ongoing Work in to 2022 with Temp to Perm Opportunities !

Requirements of a Vetting and Resourcing Advisor :
  • Be willing to apply for a DBS Check (Paid for by us!)
  • Have a 5 year checkable work history (Obtained for you by us!)
  • Be willing to attend an Aviation Cargo Operative Course (Paid for by us!)
  • Able to work equally as well alone or as part of a team
  • Able to recognize and communicate the benefits of process improvements
  • Intermediate user of MS Office packages
  • Knowledge and understanding of CAA
Role of a Vetting and Resourcing Advisor:
  • Supporting the Recruitment and Talent Advisor
  • Conduct recruitment and vetting related activities in an accurately manner
  • Understanding of all legislative changes affecting the recruitment and vetting in accordance with CAA guidelines.
  • Plan and prioritise workload with a flexible approach
  • Ensure candidate starter packs are processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Review and Process candidate packs within agreed SLA
  • Utilise appropriate tracking documents to ensure all workload, timescales and challenges are recorded
  • Conduct CV and telephone screening on applicants
  • Support with the facilitation of Assessment Centres
  • Act as ambassador representing the Recruitment and Talent team
