Job Description

Opportunity to collaborate with worldwide stakeholders in a global company, a team management role providing Data science and consulting support.Client DetailsGlobal Chemicals Specialist, driving sustainability, eliminating waste and helping their customers consume responsibly.Description

  • Coach and manage data scientists: conduct regular 1 on 1 meetings with direct reports as well as periodic performance reviews, provide feedback and support
  • Support data analytics systems: engaged in the creation of predictive models, tools and key analytics processes
  • Cross-functional collaboration: represent the team as a translator and advocate for how data science and analytics can add additional value to the business; consult with subject-area experts on statistical and data analytics problems
Profile
  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in statistics, operations research, data analytics, data science or closely related field
  • Ability to effectively use advanced algorithms to assess complex data resulting in practical insights
  • Highly skilled in R or Python
  • Experience in advanced analytics and data science applications
  • Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
  • Creativity and curiosity with the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of individuals
