Job Description

Cover Supervisor - Derby - September StartAre you confident in managing a classroom and have previous suitable experience working with and supporting/supervising students Do you also have Maths experienceProspero Teaching are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work in a fantastic Secondary School in Derby from September.Cover supervisors are suitably-trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff that are on short-term absence. The cover supervisors main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students are safe and remain on task with the work they have been set.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Derby (DE21) - Da Vinci Academy
  • Position - Cover Supervisor
  • Start date - September
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
  • End date (if applicable) - N/A
  • Contract type - Long term
  • Full time/part time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £70.00 per day
  • Hours - 8:00am - 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience working in a UK school or working with young people.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
  • Maths experience preferred.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
