A well-established and award-winning firm with several offices across the East Midlands has an opening for two Residential Conveyancing Paralegals to join their team in Derby. This role would suit a Paralegal with previous experience from a Conveyancingenvironment looking for the next step in their career.Our clientHaving been recognised in the region by Lexcel and the Law Society to name a few, my client are a leading law firm with an excellent reputation across the East Midlands. With 6 offices across the region and over 200 team members, they are well-known fortheir progressive nature and positive working environment.The role- You will be responsible for some fee earning tasks to help the progression of the Conveyancing departments legal services- Meeting the firms set performance targets and adhering to other policies and tasks set by the Partners of your department- Attending to clients and advising them on sales, purchases and remortgages to name a few- Drafting relevant contracts and negotiating with Solicitors, Building Societies, Estate Agents and Financial Advisers- You will be responsible for the exchanging of contracts, completions, post completions and liaising Land Registration- You will be expected to work closely with your team as well as independently where appropriateThe ideal candidate- You will have a solid background as a Paralegal from a Conveyancing background- You must be academically sound with a law degree- Ideally, you will be IT-competent with excellent client care skills to ensure a high level of correspondence and communication is maintained with clients at all times- You must be a confident communicatorIf you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Victoria Cavendish at Sacco Mann or another member of our ILEX team.
