Do you have experience in maintenance work and want a career where no one day is the sameAre you looking for a competitive salary Then read on!CONTRACTS MANAGERImpart links are looking to expand their growing Maintenance division and are looking to recruit a permanent Contracts Manager to facilitate growth whilst maintaining safety and quality during our expansion.Applicants should hold a full driving licence and have transport to attend transient sites throughout, but not limited to, the East and West Midlands.What we do

  • £1.5 to £2m of maintenance work per annum (A growing business)
  • Social Housing sector
  • Kitchens, Bathrooms, Voids, Windows and Doors, FRA, External Works, Fencing, garages and Soft Landscaping
  • East and West Midlands focused
  • Current Clients include: Broxtowe BC, Nuneaton and Bedworth, EEM, Gedling Homes, Derwent Living, Westworks and Nottingham CC.
  • Key responsibilities
  • Overseeing projects from start to completion
  • Programming and updating on WIP
  • Develop and implement the requirements of working safely, Planning, Risk Assessments, method Statements
  • Ensure all site operatives are trained in the use of plant and equipment they are using and that it is maintained correctly and fit for purpose
  • Supervising staff, site operatives and site activities to ensure tasks are carries in timely, safe and quality manor
  • Monitoring quality and delivery in line with contract documents
  • Organising and requisitioning site material and plant. Monitor supply chain performance.
  • Managing customer relationships
  • Co-ordinating with the team to ensure work methods are technically sound, safe and economically feasible
  • Enforcing compliance with ILM policies
  • Ensure all site operatives and contractors are wearing the correct PPE at all times
  • Identify and report on improvements required in site activities
  • Agreeing variant works, and instigating best practice and profit improvement
  • Managing disputes

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft excel, word and outlook
  • Organisation and project management skills

  • Knowledge of construction methods and technology
  • Ability to manage own diary to fulfil requirements

  • Working with team to ensure works are delivered to a quality standard and in line with expectations
  • Focus on H&S to ensure all works are completed under the correct methodology supported by RAMS

  • Pre-tender visits / preparation of requirements and materials
  • Management & Organisation of Supply chain
  • Client handovers and satisfaction
