We currently have a vacancy within our Manufacturing department for a CNC Miller / Turner. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience, seeking an opportunity to join a growing Organisation and develop their skills.Role Accountabilities: Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures. Ability to read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation. Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets. Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures. Working down to +/-0.0055mm tolerance (Turning). Editing programmes. Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.Person Specification: Previous experience of working to Aerospace standards. Experienced in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. An understanding and alignment to our Bromford values; Respect, Integrity, Safety and Excellence. Preferably 3 years experience in a similar role. Ideally apprentice trained with relevant qualifications. Either experience of setting and operating Heidenhain CNC milling machines within a high precision low volume environment.
