Job Description

This rolePlease note your job title will be Scheme Assistant. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our Scheme Assistant team. The Scheme Assistant service supports the service delivery by ensuring that the daily cleaning duties are carried out in a thorough and sensitive way with the communalareas of the housing schemes and customers homes as required. To assist the on-site Housing with Support Managers in ensuring all communal areas are safe to use and hazard free and any other day to day tasks that may be required.Also, to provide residents extra assisted services such as (but not limited to) accompanied shopping visits, appointment support and domestic living support.These roles are part time roles working 16 hours a week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm. You will mainly work alone, however there will be occasions where you will be working alongside the on-site manager and other colleagues.You will be responsible for your time management and there may be times where you are asked to cover other sites in the locality of the scheme you are based. You will be provided all materials, PPE and you will be responsible for maintaining and replenishmentof stock levels.The roles will be based at Staveley Close, Derby and Spa Court, Derby,but you would also be across either of these services. Staveley Close is situated in Shelton Lock Derby and Spa Court is situated very close to the city centre of Derby. They are approximately5 miles away from each other. Access to your own vehicle would be advantageous due to working at multiple sites.What you`ll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will be organised and able to carry out cleaning duties to a high standard. You will be friendly, approachable and customer focussed. Previous experience of working around vulnerable adults and knowledge of safeguarding would be advantageous.Knowledge around COSHH and Health and Safety regulations is essential to this role.To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an enhanced background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, which will include a check of the Adult Barred list, once an offer of employment is made.Whats in it for youOur benefits include:-
