A business that prides themselves on delivering excellence, extreme professionalism, and real quality to their customers.The ideal candidate will have some proven experience in Buying Indirects.This is a long term role, it is all about the people for this business!The Role & Responsibilities of the Indirect Buyer- Have an understanding of procurement principals and items being procured, as well as industry forces from a customer and supplier perspective- Submits RFQs, analyse quotes, issues and manages purchase orders among the supply base- Provide supporting data to lead and analyse requirements to ensure the timely acceptance of goods/services- Ensure suppliers are meeting the requirements of the company (ECN’s, delivery, quality rating, etc.)- Ensures proper approval levels are met for all purchases- Balances the need for product against the need to reduce inventory- Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance, communicates causes for concern and advises operating departments of order status as required.- Receives and researches non-compliant invoices for orders placed and approved for payment after verification or appropriate modificationRequirements of the Indirect Buyer- Ability to collect, interpret, and/or analyse complex data and information, and convey findings- Ability to interpret and negotiate quotations and agreements- Strong computer skills including familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and reporting, MS Office Applications.- Exposure and/or familiarity with purchasing various commodities.- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.- Strong judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.What will you get in return - Progression Plans- A brilliant place to workTypePermanentWorking HoursMonday - Friday - Full Time
