Job Description

Job Title: Buyer AdministratorLocation: DerbySalary: £19-25k per annum - dependant on experienceJob Type: Full Time / PermanentDuties and responsibilities

  • To support the purchasing team through data entry, raising manual orders, managing invoice queries, communicating with suppliers and other general day-to-day office duties.
  • To carry out the appropriate administrative tasks required e.g. raising enquiries, purchase orders, producing reports of a written and numerical nature & minute taking.
  • To be responsible for purchasing activities for, goods and services for Gardner Aerospace Derby on time in full
  • To manage consumable purchasing by updating our internal database with accurate information and progress chasing overdue deliveries.
  • To develop relationships with internal customers within the business in order to continually improve the quality of service provided by the department
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of robust and controlled processes and procedures within the Supply Chain function.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers
  • Good teamwork skills, a willingness to participate as a full team member
  • Good knowledge of all MS office applications, especially excel
  • Strong admin and organisation skills
  • High level of accuracy in input work and keen eye for detail
  • Problem analysis and decision making skills
