Job Description

A brilliant opportunity has come up to work with a fantastic, corrugated packaging company that works in the Industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, engineering, retail, FMCG and more. The company has been running for 50+ years as a leading corrugated manufacturerand are now seeking a Business Development Manager who is looking to further their career and help with the continuous growth of the company.Business Development Manager£50,000 to £60,000, DOE, plus benefits packageYorkshire/DerbyshireOur client is offering a salary reflecting experience with a Hybrid, Diesel or Petrol car or car allowance, 10% great bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank, Life Insurance 3x salary, health care options after 6 months, 3% Pension, laptop and phone.This role will require the business development manager to be on the road to prospect new clients, but also to nurture and develop a portfolio of around £2,000,000. The role is now available due to an increase in workload and growth. They are now activelylooking to recruit a Business Development Manager who is driven and is looking for progression.Your day-to-day duties will be based around business development creating new opportunities for the company to increase their clientele. Your role includes dealing with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiationand commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation. You will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the companyand you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company.They are looking to recruit the successful candidate immediately; however, you must have or hold:

  • A minimum of 3-6 years+ experience in the following solutions include: Corrugated or Timber.
  • Have a great understanding of the Yorkshire/UK market.
  • You must be happy developing new business opportunities and building on your successes.
  • A sense of business relationships and customer service
  • High interest in the technical dimension of the products
  • You must come from a packaging background and have experience in sales.
