I am currently on the lookout for an Architectural Technologist to join a multi-disciplinary practice that is located in Darley Abbey, which is just north of Derby.At the moment, they employ a design team of 11 people which is comprised of Architects, Technologists and Architectural Assistants which combine to ensure all projects benefit from a wide range of experience across both concept and technical design activities.As part of their strategic growth plans, this RIBA accredited practice is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their design-focused team of 11. They work across most sectors with notable current projects within Residential, Health & Education, MixedUse, Offices & Headquarters, Hospitality & Leisure, Culture, and Industrial & Research - so a wide variety of projects for you to get stuck into!As an Architectural Technologist, you will gain the opportunity to work akin to Part 2 Architectural Assistants in developing your conceptual design skills in stages 1 - 4. You will be expected to have experience in using AutoCAD and able to demonstrate technicaldesign skills and have experience in submitting building regulations applications, tender packages, and construction packages. As mentioned, an essential attribute is skills and experience of working in practice on RIBA stage 4.The Role: Architectural Technologist * RIBA Stage 4 experience* Tender packages, building regulation applications and construction packages* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Demonstrate technical design skills* AutoCAD is essential, and having experience in Sketchup, VRAY and Revit is beneficialDesirable Attributes: * RIBA Stages 1-6 experience in practice* Experience with small, measured surveys* CIAT registered* Prior BIM Project experienceThe salary for this role is £25K - £35K.For more information on this role, contact Curtis Hunter at Konker Recruitment.
