Job Description

Administrator | Alvaston, Derby DE24 | £19, 838 per annum35 hours per weekA very exciting position has arisen with our client based in Alvaston to work in their HR provision, assisting the People Services Co-ordinator and Head of Service in the day-to-day operational administrative tasks.You will have experience of working in anadministrative capacity in a busy environment. You will also have a good proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer systems and have a demonstrable ability to manage many different critical processes to tight deadlinesWhat were looking for:- Proven ability of working in a fast-paced environment- Proven ability to demonstrate skills and experience in providing administration support- Be able to prove you have good communication skills, both face to face and telephone/online- Good IT skills with experience and confidence of using the full Office 365 package- Proven experience in an administrative position- Good knowledge and practical experience of word processing, databases and spreadsheetsThe finer elements of the role:- Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team- Confident and capable communicator with the ability to inspire, engage, enhance learning and provoke thoughtful reflection- Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills- Able to build strong relationships with professionals in other organisations- Strong team player who can support and challenge and guide colleagues when appropriate- Excellent planning and organisation skills, with the ability to manage several competing tasks at the same time- Excited by developing and implementing savvy new ideas to improve the service- Able to use digital technology at workCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
