Job Description

7.5t HGV drivers24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting a large volume of 7.5t HGV drivers on behalf of our client in Derby (DE24)The client in question is a very reputable high-street name. They are a very friendly place for any individual to start their career or even progress within the business.As 7.5t HGV drivers work will be delivering to people homes so a friendly and professional appearance is a must. 7.5t HGV driver will be supported by drivers mate on all deliveries/collections. Work will be delivering a variety of items from flat pack furnitureto white goods (fridges, washing machines etc).7.5t HGV driver will be required:

  • Hold valid a 7.5t / C1 License
  • No more than 6 points (No DDs, DRs, TTs or INs)
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Home delivery of furniture or consumer goods (Fridges, TVs, Flat Pack Furniture etc)
  • Some furniture assembly work will be required (as and when required)
  • Must be presentable in appearance
  • Professional manner as customer facing
  • Remain professional during the deliveries and collections
  • New passes are welcome (assessment required)
  • MUST be able to work 5 out of 7 days including weekends
  • Choice of 2 start times (06:00 or 10:00)
PAYE rates for 7.5t HGV driver:
  • Monday to Sunday - £12.75 per hour
  • Overtime after 48 weekly hours - £16.41
