An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified Radiographer to join our team at Kings College Hospital (Denmark Hill site). The individual will be responsible for the coordination of theatre imaging work and act as a senior point of reference for all Radiography work carried out in theatres.Kings College Hospital currently runs 10 main theatres, 7 day-case, 2 liver and a liver transplant theatre that main Radiology are responsible for providing imaging services.We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, team-player with excellent communication and leadership skills. They will report directly to the Inpatient, Theatre and Mobile Superintendent and will work closely with the x-ray and theatre team coordinating and delivering efficient and effective Radiology services within theatres. They will also be responsible for training junior members of staff, the theatre imaging equipment and radiation protection under supervision of the RPS.The role will also include training and working in all plain film areas. There will also be a commitment to working as part of an out of hours rota.
