Job Description

Are you an experienced HR administrator on the lookout for a new role Are you available immediately and seeking full time employment I am actively working on behalf of a client based in Derby who are on the lookout for a HR administrator to start ASAP until July next year.This is a full time role and will require access to some form of transport as you will be working in the office. However, there is scope for 1 day remote working in the new year which is yet to be confirmed.The location is in the DE5 postal area of Derby and has transport links to and from areas of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. There is parking available on site for car users.Job purpose:The main purpose of the role is to report to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator will provide efficient and effective support and assistance to the HR Department in the administration of HR activities across the UK businesses.Further duties:

  • Organizing and maintaining personnel records, entering new hire data, and updating any previous employees data.
  • Updating internal HR databases; for example, entering sick leaves, maternity leaves, and more.
  • Review, revise, and update company policies.
  • Prepare various HR documents, including new hire guides, employment contracts, compensation lists, and more.
  • Assist recruiters, talent acquisition teams, and other HR staff with activities, such as onboarding of new recruits.
  • Be the first point of contact with external partners, such as insurance vendors, to ensure legal compliance.
  • General HR duties and responsibilities
Skills required:
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office.
  • A high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
