Job Description

This multiple generation family run Food Manufacturer with a long established brand are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead for their North Wales Manufacturing site.This role is to monitor proactively safety, legality and quality issues relating to raw materials, work in progress and finished goods to ensure that appropriate standards are maintained at all times.Responsibilities

  • Lead, review and implement BRCGS and additional audit standards
  • Lead, amend and review the HACCP, VACCP, TACCP and food defence plan
  • Ensure compliance to legislation and regulatory affairs
  • Updating and reviewing of Quality risk assessments
  • Investigation of Non-conformances, conducting root cause analysis, providing corrective actions and trending
  • Implementation and continued compliance of Quality KPI’s, providing reports to the management team
  • Maintenance of site procedures and policies ensuring they comply with company and customer requirements.
  • Ensure product leaving site meets both food safety and customer requirements
  • Conducting site compliance checks alongside the production manager you will support the Quality and Technical Function as required
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years Quality experience within food manufacturing
  • Level 3 HACCP and food safety
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Knowledge of and experience with relevant GFSI standards such as BRCGS
