Driver Compliance/ TrainerOur Road Haulier client based in Deeside are currently seeking an approved Driver Compliance / Trainer to join the team.The successful applicant will train LGV Drivers on approved modules and also complete regular Driver assessment as and when required. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join an award winning transport company who are committed to Driver Training,Compliance and Continuous Improvement.The succesfull applicant will report to the Transport Manager and from time to time give presentations to the Management team.This role will include:• Conduct Periodic Driver CPC Training courses• Help develop new modules• Conduct LGV assessments during driver inductions• Conduct regular driver assessments yearly and post-accident• Refresher training as and when required, to include drivers hours, working time directive, use of tachographs, reverse training, defensive driving and fuel efficiency techniques• Help to maintain and improve standards of the company core drivers• Vehicle pre and post shift training• Store risk assessments• Looking at cost affective routes i.e. store to store maps.• Help manage the trailers in the yard and help with Office cover.• Liaise with Company Management on continuous improvement ideasRequirements for this role• RTITB Qualified (preferable)• HGV class 1 (C+E) licence• Fully understand drivers compliance and legislation rules• Previous coaching and training experience• Have the ability to drive defensively and efficiently• Knowledge of Health & Safety• Be a confident communicator• Be computer literateWorking Hours 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings (if required) Required skills
