Job Description

Facilitating the ordering of materials through our ERP system for various factory sites and departments. Working with supply chain to secure the appropriate goods and coordinate delivery. Responsible for accurate ordering of materials to meet deadlines.Help in assessing the stock control across multiple sites.Part time -Flexible hours - 4 day coverage (ideally in the afternoons) needed with one of those days needing to be a Friday.Full time -8:30am - 4:30pm Mon -Thurs & 8:30am - 2:00pm FridayOffice hours:Mon to Thurs - 7:30am till 5pmMon to Fri - 7:30am till 2pmPay rate:£12.02 per hourFacilitating the ordering of materials through our ERP system for various factory sites and departments. Helpin assessing the stock control across multiple sites.This is both a demanding and rewarding job role working as part of a dynamic focused team, full training will be given if you have the transferable skillset.Job Duties:

  • Work with authorised suppliers to determine best value including coordinating the timing and means of delivery
  • Handle any related to suppler service, such as poor product quality or delivery delays escalating to Procurement Manager
  • Find solutions to stock shortfalls, vendor errors, and other problems as they arise
  • Work with various departments to determine the amount and type of goods required
  • Keep an accurate inventory of goods on hand
  • Ensure company ordering and tracking systems are kept up to date.
  • Work with stores teams to ensure priority stocked lines are maintained.
  • Seek out ways to improve efficiency save money on the procurement of goods and requests.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills necessary, both written and verbal
  • Good analytical skills, competent in excel and ERP systems /computer skills.
  • Product / Industry knowledge preferred but not essential.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills for working with various departments as well as suppliers.
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail; problem-solving skills.
