Job Description

Rotheram Carrington Financial Recruitment are pleased to be supporting an exciting growing business who are based in Deeside. Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis and are looking for the rightperson to start as soon as possible. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the following duties:Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating the purchasing and stock systems
  • Matching, batching, and coding, dealing with queries and processing invoices
  • Month end supplier reconciliations
  • Monitoring and maintaining of the aged debtor ledger and escalate any potential issues
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Processing of payroll
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Working with other internal departments to support with customer discrepancies
  • Supporting the Finance Director with any additional finance duties
Skills/Experience:
  • AAT Qualified/currently studying AAT
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
  • Can work well independently and within a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good effective communicator
Salary/Benefits
  • Up to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
  • Free on site parking
  • 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
