A fantastic opportunity for a Pensions Supervisor to join my client on a 12 week temporary assignment - immediate start and a competitive hourly rate in return plus 100% remote working !Job Purpose - To be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of all pensions administration transactions to multiple clients. Encourage performance-focused working environment, which promotes a culture of continuous improvement and innovationacross the service.Responsibilities Demonstrate an expert knowledge of pensions processes and legislative requirements Ensure all pension records are maintained to comply with NHS pension scheme regulations Manage provision of accurate retirement estimates to the client and information regarding NHS pensions scheme and changes, excluding advice Manage the production and submission of statutory returns to NHS Pensions Agency and other Government bodies Ensure that letters are sent to employees who have reached pensionable age, detailing pensions options Implement and maintain a comprehensive set of measures to support day to day operational management of the team (productivity, utilisation and quality) and achievement of business goals Manage workloads effectively Encourage continuous improvement to increase efficiency Take action to minimise risks and escalate risks and issues appropriately Ensure auditable processes and procedures are maintained for meeting statutory and contractual requirements Ensure adequately skilled resource is available to meet both current and future service delivery requirements Constructively interact with and challenge colleagues at all levels to drive towards operational excellence Provide as required management support and resources to deliver projects arising from new business opportunities, service development, policy and legislative changesEssential skills and experience required Strong pensions admin management experience. Experience of working with KPIs and SLAs. Experience of managing a team of administrators Proven organisational skills demonstrated by the ability to plan and manage resources and services to achieve KPI/PI performance.. Well developed ability to lead; manage and develop high performing teams. Target driven and adaptable with strong resource management capability. Experience in interpreting and implementing pensions legislation. Experience of developing, coaching and mentoring staff. Experience of working in an operational, high volume, and fast paced environment. Experience of working within a HR and/or regulatory framework. Knowledge of systems capability and potential.
