Working on a number of schemes concurrently, this role will have full involvement from preconstruction to handover of completed unitsYouwillcoordinate and manage the production of the working drawings,detailsand specifications from external consultants for onward distribution and discussion with internal departments. You will be responsible for ensuringclashesondrawings and layoutsare highlighted, specifications are adhered to and build type and design arescrutinised.You will also play a key role in monitoring and assisting in the progression of works on site.You may also be expected to play a lead role in the design co-ordinationand submission of detailed planning applications.This is an agile role however the successful applicant will be covering our sites in the Kent & Surrey area and will be expected to travel to our London offices on occasionFor more information please download our job profile available on our website.More about youTo apply for thisrole,you musthave experience as a Design Manageror aTechnical Manageror as aDesign and Build Manager. Experience working on designs for multi-tenure (affordable rent, PRS, market sale)complex construction projectswould be advantageous.Youwill also require knowledgeof various construction methods, an expert knowledge of building regulations and standards and CDM regulations. It would also be advantageous if you have experience and knowledge of the planning process and procedures. We are lookingfor applications from candidates who have experience of working with low rise housing projects.This role is based inLondon allowing you to collaborate with the developments and constructionteams. We are trialling hybrid working, so you will be able to split your time between home, various sites and the office in London.
