Our client a large water utility company is looking for a Streetworks Compliance Trainer to work in London - Dartford.This is a great opportunity for the ideal person to provide and deliver classroom and field based training. A van, fuel card, phone and all PPE will also be supplied by the client.This is a multi-functional role which encompasses two key areas of operations:·You will deliver specific practical hands on and classroom-based training requirements to support the Smart Metering Programme accordance to Traffic Management Act. ·Responsible for auditing, reporting, and supporting the operational supervisors and operatives to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Essential Safety Standards,Duties and Responsibilities·Deliver practical training sessions to operational staff on Streetworks compliance. ·Providing and delivering classroom-based training on all elements of Streetworks compliance. ·Proactively monitor street works quality compliance to ensure that any training requirements are identified. ·Minimising all Streetworks fines by supporting supervisors and operatives. ·Supporting the defect management process. ·Undertaking joint inspections with local authority inspectors and/or their representatives and agree remedial works or other requirements and actions. ·Ensure key risks and issues are reported and escalated immediately to supervisor when necessary. ·Promote a behavioural safety approach. ·Ensure key risks and issues are reported and escalated immediately to supervisor when necessary. ·Carry out SHEQ audits. Skills and ExperienceAbility to deliver streetworks training in a "hands-on" practical and classroom setting.
