Job Description

23197 & 23198Site Operative & Site Supervisor Dartford £10.50 - £12.50 per hour + Vehicle + OT Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from Site Operatives and Site Supervisors with an ECS/CSCS card in the Dartford area interested in working for a thriving business serving the critical power industry.Working out of the companys head office and workshop in Dartford you will work both here and travelling across the UK, and occasionally internationally.Ideally, we are looking for a background working hands-on in the critical power sector or UPS industry. To be considered it is essential that you can provide a clean driving licence, be based within an hour of Dartford, and possess the required certificates.Role Profile

  • Preparing jobs, cleaning equipment ready to be sent out.
  • Pulling cables on jobs in the field.
  • Ensures all paperwork, including RAMS are accurate for the tasks to be performed, signed by ALL present and performing works and/or affected by works
  • Ensures all permits are in place and completed accurately as well as signed onto and returned as required
  • Ensures all near misses are recorded and reported to line managers
  • Ensures all site-specific paperwork is completed and returned as required, (daily sheets, on site RAs etc)
  • Ensures compliance with all PPE requirements and stipulations
  • Documents and reports any defective equipment
  • Liaises with site contacts on issues, concerns, daily works etc
  • Ensures site is left neat and tidy and takes responsibility for works performed and quality
    • Applicant Profile
  • Ideally work as a Site Operative or Supervisor in the critical power sector or backup power/power generation sector.
  • Including familiarity with generators, UPS or load banks.
  • Ideally manual handling and working at heights certificates.
  • ECS/CSCS
  • Near Miss Reporting
  • ESR understanding
  • HV awareness
  • Ability to read and understand RAMS
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Passport for international travel.
