Sales Support Manager - Shoring / Support Systems Job Title: Sales Support Manager - Shoring & Support SystemsIndustry Sector: Sales Support Manager, Internal Sales, Graduate Sales, Graduate, Construction, Shoring, Excavation Systems, Civil Engineering, Civil’s, Heavy Civil Engineering, Trench Systems, Shoring Solutions, Excavation Systems, Geotechnical, Formwork, Falsework, Structural Support Systems, Ancillaries, Piles, Trench SheetsBased: Dartford or commutable distanceRemuneration: £22,000 - £25,000 (depending on experience) + £900 bonusBenefits: comprehensive benefits packagesThe role of the Sales Support Manager - Shoring & Support Systems will involve:

  • Internal sales position, supporting the external sales team with all incoming enquiries and on-going sales
  • Will be required to write up quotations
  • Will be expected to generate leads for the external sales team to go after
  • Once up and running, you will be required to assist with reading up / understanding design briefs
  • You will be required to dealt with and support engineers such as: groundwork contractors, civil contractors, civil engineers, utilities contractors, rail contractors, sub-contractors
  • Dealing with order values typically ranging from £400 per week to £10-12k per week with larger contractors
  • Working closely with external sales team, regional engineers, line manager
    • The ideal applicant will be a Sales Support Manager - Shoring & Support Systems with:
  • Must be a graduate looking to step into construction sales OR work within the construction industry in an internal / branch / merchandising position
  • Ideally have sales experience in the construction industry not essential
  • Ideally have experience selling products such as: shoring solutions, bracing struts, ancillaries, piles, trench sheets, box systems, bracing systems, concrete pipe equipment, tools and accessories, excavation support systems, formwork, falsework, geotechnical and heavyside civil engineering systems
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and assisting over colleagues with sales
  • Strong work ethic roll your sleeves up’ mentality
  • Keenness to learn companies products and systems
  • Enthusiastic, hungry and ambitious
